When we talk about GNSS precision, most users think of satellites, corrections, or receiver quality. But one of the most overlooked — and yet crucial — factors lies in the very first link of the signal chain: the antenna.

Following Part 1 (how to create code libraries) and Part 2 (using codes and managing string numbers in the field), this final post in the series explores the Fast Code functionality in SingularPad — designed to significantly speed up survey workflows that involve repeated code entry, such as road cross-sections or topographic transects.

Continuing from Part 1, where we explained how to create and manage code lists in SingularPad, this second part focuses on how to use the codes in field measurements — including selecting codes, searching, and using string numbers for linework control and export.

This blog will take a deeper dive into creating a Code Library within the SingularPad software, as there have been a number of feature updates in recent iterations. Creating a Code Library greatly improves the quality of the survey capture both in the field (by creating the linework/features) while undertaking the survey capture and then importing data into the processing software.
